Rosalind Smith Sistrunk, LPCC

A Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who specializes in Christian counseling and relationship counseling, Rosalind Smith Sistrunk has certifications in Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), Certified Mindfulness-Informed Clinician-Level 1 (CMC1), Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC), and Board Certified Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH).

Her therapeutic approach to helping individuals and couples heal from emotional pain and trauma is shaped by her ministry work, experience treating anxiety, depression, and trauma, and the use of mindfulness meditation and Imago Relationship Therapy.   Her work as a Christian counselor bridges the gap between spirituality and reality by fostering a loving, non-judgmental environment that aids in the process of healing.

Ms. Sistrunk believes that her work as a counselor is a ministry, which at its core is the love of God. It is her understanding that relationships and loving oneself are built on three components: mutual trust, empathy, and love. Once achieved, the relationship and acceptance of oneself will grow deeper and more vibrant each time there is a positive experience or connection. Without any one of these components, the foundation of the relationship and one’s outlook on life will be negatively impacted.

Offering hope and healing through the counseling process, Sistrunk says she has had the awesome opportunity to experience many individuals and couples connecting with God and improving the quality of their lives and relationships.
